Give shared records a clear owner.

When sales and finance disagree about a customer, which value should they trust? ORQESTRA’s data model gives each shared identity a reference and each important field an owner.

Golden Record stewardship and cross-system reporting are planned. The examples explain the data model; they do not demonstrate live matching, synchronisation or reporting.

One enterprise identity. Clear ownership of every important field.

Northwind appears in the CRM, finance and project workspace. Inspect the proposed shared identity, field ownership rules and receivables definition to see what must be agreed before teams use a common view.

Illustrative workflow. A shared identity does not transfer ownership of accounting or workspace content.

Explore the capability.

The ORQESTRA Enterprise Record is the planned link between representations of the same business entity. Golden Record rules select important values using defined authority and evidence, while transactions stay with their source systems.

Link the same entity across systems

Connect source records for an organisation, person, product, service or project to a stable shared reference. Customer and supplier relationships can belong to the same organisation.

What this means in practice

Customer and supplier are relationships to an organisation, not reasons to create two unrelated identities.

Connected information.
Clear responsibility.

The target design links information across these systems. Each retains responsibility for its own transactions or content.

Define the first
working scope.

Scope one process before committing to a rollout. Agree these requirements and verify the workflow with the people who will use it.

Our implementation approach
  • Inventory the shared business entities and identifiers.
  • Define field authority and match-review responsibilities.
  • Map source references and conflict handling.
  • Agree metric definitions, company scope and freshness requirements.

Before you connect the work.

What is the difference between an Enterprise Record and a Golden Record?

The Enterprise Record links a business identity and its relationships across systems. Golden Record rules determine which important attribute values are authoritative, retaining source evidence and review history.

Does the latest update always win?

No. The design uses field ownership and source authority to select a value. A more recent copy does not automatically override the system or steward responsible for that information.

How should a merge protect transaction history?

The planned merge process preserves original references and history, with review of ambiguous relationships and downstream reconciliation. Financial transactions remain in their accounting context. Production merge workflows are not yet available.

Which records do your teams reconcile by hand?

Describe the process, systems and decision-makers involved. Use the enquiry to identify scope, dependencies and what must be demonstrated before use.
