Follow the order from commitment to fulfilment.
What was sold, where is the stock and who will fulfil it? ORQESTRA’s operations design links those answers to the order and its customer.
Operations integration is in development. These examples describe the intended order and inventory workflows; supported transactions must be verified before operational use.
Check the order before fulfilment accepts it.
An order for Northwind needs to move from sales to fulfilment. Inspect its customer and company links, the source item and warehouse context, then the delivery handover.
Illustrative workflow. Stock and price information retain their warehouse, company and source.
Order SO-1048
Northwind Traders · Example Services (Pty) Ltd
The order keeps its customer, company and financial context.
Keep the order connected from sale to fulfilment.
The proposed sequence, from the starting event to the confirmed result.
Identify what was sold
Map the product or service to its shared identity and source SKU, including the unit used by the operational system.
Explore the capability.
The planned operations experience links shared customer and product identities to the engine that manages orders, purchasing and inventory. The aim is to make each handover understandable to sales, fulfilment and finance.
Resolve the product and its unit
Connect the shared product or service to the source item code. Retain the unit of measure, price list and company context needed to interpret the order correctly.
A sales quantity in boxes may differ from an inventory quantity in units. Confirm the conversion before fulfilment.
Connected information.
Clear responsibility.
The target design links information across these systems. Each retains responsibility for its own transactions or content.
Define the first
working scope.
Scope one process before committing to a rollout. Agree these requirements and verify the workflow with the people who will use it.
Our implementation approach- Map product identities and source SKUs.
- Define operating companies, warehouses and units.
- Choose the order-to-delivery handovers to connect.
- Validate stock freshness and exception ownership.
Before you connect the work.
Does a shared stock view combine warehouses?
The design retains warehouse and company context. Stock in different locations must not be treated as interchangeable when checking whether an order can be fulfilled.
Does the model include services?
Yes. The canonical model includes products and services. A working order or billing process still requires the corresponding source item, units and commercial rules to be configured and verified.
Where are stock and price changes made?
The target design keeps operational values and transactions with ERP-ONEXi. ORQESTRA must route any supported change through the relevant engine rules and permissions.
Which handover puts a customer commitment at risk?
Describe the process, systems and decision-makers involved. Use the enquiry to identify scope, dependencies and what must be demonstrated before use.
